If you are
just starting out or are the average joe, you will need to create these
graphics yourself, mainly because right now, you have more time
available then money.
Then, there
are also people like me who just really love design work &
honestly hope to learn a new trick
(even just one trick would make it worth

gurus or marketers who have the money to outsource their design work

You see,
I've discovered that everyone
learns differently. Some people learn best by
reading, hearing or seeing.
As you can
see from the chart that reading, audio and visual alone just
doesn’t allow people to retain the information they have been
given.
But, when
you combine all three and
incorporate
doing (or action), people retain
the information tons more. Ok,
I've just given away the best secret
around that has kept me a successful trainer & coach. :-)
Now
you’re probably saying, it’s a Photoshop Tutorial
how different can it be?
Glad you
asked. Yes, there are hundred (possibly
thousands) of
Photoshop tutorial sites out there. They give you a short
description and some screen shots.
Again, yes,
there are quite a few newer sites now have videos. You can
see someone doing what you wish to learn. But, they don’t
give you the written instructions so you can duplicate what you just
watched.
There
are a
couple of things missing with both of these approaches...
Minimally,
you need to combine both the written/reading part of learning with the
video visual/audio part of learning. Otherwise, most people
will fail.
That is why
my methods are more successful than any others out there. Let
me explain…
When you
build a birdhouse or cook a meal (another passion of mine)...besides
knowing how to do it, what else do you need?
Simply, (Pause for
effect) How
about the materials?
When you
were learning how to cook, you were given the recipe and you have seen
it done before. You also needed the ingredients to accomplish
the task. Without the ingredients you would be eating air.
So,
imagine creating even simple eCovers like this:
